PURELIFE PURE HYDRATION WARRANTY
Purchaser must retain the original sales receipt and register Pure Hydration counter-top/under-counter units within 30 days of purchase. Register Online on the Purelife Home Page.
We are confident in the quality and craftsmanship of our water ionizers. Warranty is only valid for the original purchaser and for Pure Hydration units sold directly by Purelife.
Repair work can only be performed through the manufacturer’s repair center located in Ormond Beach, Florida or an authorized repair center designated by Purelife. Please thoroughly read the owner’s manual before attempting to install and use your ionizer.
Customer must contact Purelife Customer Service and provide proof of purchase within the product warranty time period. Purelife will coordinate repair or replacement and return the product, without charge within a reasonable period of time, subject to the conditions in the above paragraphs, and in accordance with the warranty life for components if examination discloses any part to be defective in workmanship or material. If we are unable to repair the product, we will provide a replacement unit, at the company’s discretion and cost.
HOW THE WARRANTY WORKS

In addition with the Manufacturer’s warranty, and subject to the conditions hereinafter set forth, Purelife will repair or replace to the original user or consumer, parts or components found to be defective in manufacturing or workmanship.

WARRANTIES NOT APPLICABLE: To defects or malfunctions resulting from failure to properly install, operate or maintain the unit in accordance with printed instructions; to failures resulting from shipment or handling, abuse, accident, negligence, freezing, fire or heat, direct exposure to weather or sunlight, water temperatures and pressures exceeding specifications, flooding or other acts of God not considered normal operating condition; to normal maintenance services and the parts used in connection with such service; to units which are not installed in accordance with applicable local codes, ordinances and good trade practices; if the unit is moved from its original installation location; or if unit is used for purposes other than for what it was designed and manufactured.
LABOR COSTS, LIABILITY: The Dealer IN NO EVENT will be responsible or liable for the cost of field labor or other charges incurred by any customer in removing and/or reaffixing any Purelife or Cosan/USA product, part of component thereof, or be liable for any injury, loss or damage, direct or indirect, special or consequential, arising out of the use of, misuse, or the inability to use such product for his/her intended purposes and shall assume all risk and liability in connection therewith.
RETURNS: A RETURN AUTHORIZATION NUMBER (RAN) is required on ALL RETURNS. Contact Purelife (800) 894-5785 to obtain this number. The RAN MUST be clearly written on the outside of the package. Address shipments to the following address, freight prepaid:

The customer must order Cosan/USA replacement parts if required as a standard purchase until the defective part is received and evaluated by the factory. Purelife will inspect, test and determine the cause of the defective component or parts. Purelife at its sole discretion will make repairs to or replace components. Purelife will determine the extent of the warranty coverage and the proper warranty credit to be applied. The return freight will be credited to the customer for warranty repairs or replacements.
For your warranty protection, online registration of your product must be completed on the Purelife website within 30 days of receipt. The effective date of this warranty will be based on the date of purchase plus 30 days. This warranty give you specific legal rights and you may also have other rights, which vary from state to state.

LIMITS AND EXCLUSIONS
There are no express warranties except as listed above. The warrantor is not responsible for incidental or consequential damage or damages arising out of the use of any, unauthorized attachment. All express and implied warranties, including the warranties of merchantability and fitness for particular purpose, are limited to the applicable warranty period.
WATER LEAK LIABILITY STATEMENT
All Cosan/USA® products are built to last. Housings, hoses and fittings are covered by our limited warranty.
Neither Purelife, Cosan/USA, a USA corporation nor any manufacturer of Cosan/USA® products makes any warranty as to damages caused by water leaks of any kind. Purelife or Cosan/USA® will not be responsible for any damages caused by leaking water for any reason. This includes work done by Purelife or Cosan/USA® employees or hired contractors.
Always check the water pressure of your home and assure it does not exceed national plumbing code of 45 PSI. A maximum of 60 PSI is acceptable for Cosan/USA® filters. Be sure all plumbing codes in your home are up to national standards.
It is a good idea to periodically check under your sink and inspect for water leaks especially when the product is new. This would apply to any brand water ionizer or pre-filter assembly. Ninety percent of all water leaks experienced with new products occur within the first 12 hours of installation. If you are not going to be home and able to check on the filters during this time, please turn the water supply to the filters off until you will be home for 12 hours or more.
It is always a good habit to shut off the water supply to the unit or to your entire home when going away on vacation or extended periods of time in order to avoid unexpected floods. For periods of two weeks or longer, remove water ionizer on board filters, place in a plastic bag and refrigerate.
By installing any Cosan/USA® under-counter water ionizer, you agree to hold Purelife and Cosan/USA harmless for any water damage caused by leaking water for any reason.
